David Feys
Executive Chef

David founded Feys+Hobbs on three principles: go beyond expectations at every opportunity, never say no as there is always a solution, and always do the right thing in all circumstances. His integrity and culinary excellence have been recognized by such awards as Vancouver Island's Top 40 Under 40 in 2006, Best Catered Event nominee and Most Outstanding Event ($100,000 - $300,000) nominee at the 2006 Canadian Event Industry Awards, and 2004 Best Off-Premise Catered Event nominee by Special Events Magazine.

David has been active in the creation of a West Coast culinary identity and encourages local sustainability by supporting local producers, vintners and growers. He provides ongoing support to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Royal B.C. Museum, Pacific Opera, Mustard Seed Food Bank, Women's Transition House and StreetLink.
